Breaking: Bauchi SSG resigns, gov’s Chief of Staff takes over

In a surprise move, the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) of Bauchi State, Barrister Ibrahim Muhammad Kashim, has tendered his resignation.
The SSG’s resignation was announced on Friday evening even as the government also announced its acceptance of his resignation.
According to a statement released by Mukhtar M Gidado, Special Adviser Media and Publicity to Bauchi State governor, Bala Mohammed, government has accepted the resignation with immediate effect.
He added that the governor also directed his Chief of Staff, Aminu Gamawa, to take over the position in acting capacity.
“Governor Bala Mohammed, on behalf of the government and the people of Bauchi State, thanked him for the services he rendered to the State and wished him well in his future endeavors,” Mukhtar said in the statement.
