Breaking: Court grants N10m bail each to 67 minors over end bad governance protest

Justice Obiora Egwuatu of the Federal High Court in Abuja has granted bail to 67 minors among the 76 individuals detained following the August 2024 End Bad Governance protest.
Each minor was granted bail set at N10 million, with the condition that they must present one surety, who must be a civil servant.
The minors, all under the age of 15, had been held in connection with the protest, which was organized to oppose the growing insecurity and economic challenges in Nigeria.
Meanwhile, another group of 87 adults linked to the same protest is currently being arraigned on similar charges.
