Breaking: Despite EFCC siege, Yahaya Bello escapes arrest through Ododo’s convoy

Former governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello, has escaped arrest from the operatives of the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
He escaped arrest after he was being whisked away by the convoy of his successor, Usman Ododo.
Recall that there has a massive security crackdown on his Abuja residence by the operatives of the anti-graft agency leading to restrictions of movement in and around Bello’s house situated on Benghazi street, Wuse Zone 4.
An EFCC official could be overheard while speaking with his superior on the phone saying Bello was inside Ododo’s car that departed.
Shortly after Ododo departed from Bello’s residence, the EFCC personnel left the house.
