Breaking: FG places Yahaya Bello on watch-list

The Federal Government has placed former Kogi state governor, Yahaya Bello on watchlist.
The Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) in a lettter written to it’s sisters agency on Thursday revealed the latest development.
In a letter signed by the Assistant Comptroller of Immigration, ACI DS Umar, directed to the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, Director Department of State Security Services (DSS), Yusuf Magaji Bichi and the National Intelligent Agency (NIA), said, “I am directed to inform you that the above named person (Bello Yahaya) has been placed on watch list.”
“Suffice to mention that the subject is being prosecuted before the Federal High Court Abuja for Conspiracy, Breach of Trust and Money Laundering vide letter Ref; CR; 3000/EFCC/LS/EGCS.1/TE/V 1/279 dated 18th April 2024, if seen at any entry or exit point, he should be arrested and referred to the Director of Investigation or contact 08036226329/07039617304 for further action.“
Recall that the former Kogi state governor was declared wanted by the anti-graft agency after he refused to appear before Abuja court on Thursday.
