Breaking: Jonathan storms Rivers calls for peace

Former President Goodluck Jonathan has arrived in Rivers state to perform the ceremonial flag-off of the Original Trans-Kalabari road.
While delivering his speech, he called for peace amidst political crisis in the state.
He called on the former governor, Nyesom Wike to make peace with his successor, Sim Fubara.
Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, who welcome the former president to the state on Monday.
The Trans-Kalabari road is a significant infrastructure project aimed at enhancing connectivity and fostering economic development in the Kalabari region.
Governor Fubara recently declared that the Trans-Kalabari Road will be a transformative project for the Kalabari region, improving accessibility and boosting economic activities.
The project is expected to facilitate better transportation, enhance trade, and promote socio-economic growth for the communities along the route.
On his part, Jonathan had earlier praised the vision and dedication of the Rivers State government under Governor Fubara’s leadership.
