Liverpool secured a commanding 2-0 victory over Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, moving 11 points behind second-placed Arsenal in the Premier League table.
The Reds dominated the match from start to finish, taking a 2-0 lead by halftime, with City’s defence under heavy pressure.
Mohamed Salah opened the scoring with a brilliant strike inside the box, following a well-delivered corner from Mac Allister. Then, Szoboszlai doubled Liverpool’s lead with a clinical finish after receiving a pass from Salah, sealing a dominant performance. Pep Guardiola’s side struggled to break down Liverpool’s defence and were left with little response as the visitors continued to assert control throughout the match.
