Catholic priest confirmed dead

A Catholic priest serving in the Archdiocese of Abuja, Rev. Fr. Solomon Dankaro, has died.
Dankaro, a Fidei Donum priest from Wukari Diocese serving in the Archdiocese of Abuja as priest in charge of St. Augustine’s Pastoral area, Waru, died on Friday in National Hospital, Abuja, after a brief illness.
His death was confirmed by the Auxiliary Bishop of the Abuja Archdiocese, Most Reverend Anselm Umoren.
“This is to inform you of the passing to eternity this morning, Friday 18th October 2024, at the National Hospital of Rev. Fr. Solomon Dankaro, a Fidei Donum priest from Wukari Diocese serving in the Archdiocese of Abuja as priest in charge of St. Augustine’s Pastoral area, Waru.
“Please kindly remember him in your prayers for the repose of his soul. Do also remember his biological family and the Diocese of Wukari in your prayers.
Details regarding his burial arrangements will be communicated at a later date,” the Bishop said.
