CBN releases contacts to report cash scarcity at ATMs

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has released phone numbers and email addresses for Nigerians to report issues with accessing cash at bank branches or ATMs.
This measure is part of ongoing efforts to improve cash availability across the country.
The CBN recently instructed banks to ensure cash is easily accessible through ATMs and over-the-counter transactions. Banks that fail to comply with this directive risk facing penalties.
To help monitor and address these issues, the apex bank has set up reporting channels for customers to share their experiences.
Customers experiencing problems can report by providing details such as the bank name, the amount involved, the date, and the time of the incident.
Reports can be submitted via phone calls or emails to the specific CBN branch in the state where the issue occurred.
