Creatives need platforms to thrive, says Omotunde

Emmanuel Omotunde, the Chief Executive Officer of MBI Entertainment, highlighted the importance of providing a variety of platforms for creatives to flourish and reach their full potential.
While speaking in an interview, he said, “Creatives need diverse platforms to showcase their craft, and that is why I put together the Ibadan Music Festival. My goal is to create a platform where creatives can thrive and showcase their crafts, as well as attract more investors in the creative industry of Ibadan.”
Highlighting what sets IBMF apart, Omotunde said, “IBMF stands out in terms of creativity and delivery. The joint performance of artistes, Djs and hypemen is one of the highlight of the festival.”
Omotunde revealed that the artistes and performers selected for IBMF were carefully chosen based on a rigorous set of criteria established by the event’s organizing team.
Omotunde, a CEO and entrepreneur, provided a unique perspective on his intentional approach to navigating the demands of both roles, revealing how he effectively juggles his dual careers.
“Running businesses, and managing an entertainment career at the same time is difficult, but I have been managing the planning and execution pretty well by putting teams together to handle each task while I oversee everything,” he said.
