Dangote Refinery debunks report of NNPCL petrol lift, clarifies pricing

The Dangote Refinery has issued a strong denial regarding reports that the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has started lifting petrol from its facility. This comes after a report by Business Day claimed that the lifting of petrol had commenced.
In a statement, the Dangote Refinery refuted the claims, stating that there was no truth to the report.
The company emphasized that it has not started supplying petrol to NNPCL or any other entity.
Furthermore, the refinery clarified that it will not determine the price of the product, as this is the responsibility of the relevant regulatory authorities. The company urged the public to disregard the report and rely on official announcements for accurate information.
