Davido claps back at fan who advised him to stay out of politics

Afrobeat superstar Davido has responded to a fan who suggested he focus on his music career and leave politics alone.
The exchange began after Davido criticized the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on X, accusing them of election malpractice during the Edo State governorship election. Some questioned his involvement, noting he’s not from Edo State.
Davido clarified his connection, revealing his late mother, Imade Veronica Adeleke, was from Edo State.
However, @Riddwane, an X user, advised Davido to “face his music” and leave politics alone, saying, “Politics is not his turf.”
Davido fired back, confidently asserting his potential in politics: “Free and fair election in Nigeria… I would be easily elected…. YOU SEF KNOW.”

Will Davido explore politics further, or prioritize his music career? The debate continues.
