Eid-el Fitr : Bauchi Gov assures of more palliative to citizens

Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdukadir Mohammed has assured that the palliative distribution exercise would be extended beyond the holy month of Ramadan in view of the growing economic hardship being faced by the citizens.
He made this known Wednesday while interacting with journalists shortly after observing Eid-el Fitr Prayer at Bauchi Eid Ground.
Bala Mohammed said the worsening economic situation required a collective effort among governments at all levels as well as corporate organizations towards ameliorating the situation.
He described the recent disbursement of N10,000 as Sallah gift to both state and local government civil servants as unprecedented move by his administration, and urged them to reciprocate the gesture through increased productivity.
On the occasion of Sallah Celebrations, Governor Bala Mohammed called on the Muslim ummah to restrengthen their relationship with one another and imbibe the spirit of love and forgiveness to attract Allah’s blessings.
The two Raka’at prayer which saw the attendance of thousands worshipers including the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Development Professor Ali Pate, Emir of Bauchi Alhaji Rilwanu Sulaimanu Adamu and top government functionaries was led by the Chief Imam of Bauchi, Imam Bala Baban Innah.
