The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) has extended the deadline for submitting applications for vacancies in the Federal Civil Service to Monday, March 17, 2025.
This new date replaces the initial deadline of March 10, as previously advertised in national newspapers and on the FCSC website.
The announcement was made by FCSC Chairman, Prof. Tunji Olaopa, in a statement released by the commission’s Head of Press and Public Relations, Mr. Taiwo Hassan.
According to Olaopa, the extension was officially published in The Sun and The Nation newspapers on March 10, with another publication set to appear in Daily Trust on March 11.
He urged qualified Nigerians to take advantage of the extended deadline and apply for the available positions.
The FCSC also reiterated its commitment to a transparent and merit-based recruitment process, assuring applicants that the selection would be fair and in line with due process.
