Felele crash: Ajaka mourns loss of students in devastating road accident

Social Democratic Party governorship candidate in the 2023 election in Kogi State, Alhaji Murtala Yakubu Ajaka has expressed his deepest condolences to the families of the students who tragically lost their lives in a devastating road accident that occurred in the Felele area of Lokoja.
The shuttle bus carrying students from the Federal University, Lokoja, was tragically crushed by an articulated vehicle, resulting in the confirmed deaths of the students and the driver.
In a statement, Alhaji Ajaka described the loss as “heart-wrenching” and called on the federal and state governments to take immediate action to address the recurring problem of road accidents in the Felele area.
“We continue to lose our young, vibrant brothers and sisters, our future leaders, due to preventable accidents. This situation must be addressed immediately,” he urged.
Alhaji Ajaka also called for improved road safety measures, stricter regulations for articulated vehicles, and proactive steps to safeguard citizens’ lives.
The tragic incident has sparked widespread outrage and grief, with many taking to social media to express their condolences and demand action to improve road safety.
