Funke Akindele is whoever she says she is

By Ifenla Oligbinde
Cutesy, Mindful, Demure, The Funke Akindele.
I am a lover of HARDWORKING AND SUCCESSFUL women, but away from that, I particularly love women who keep evolving and being much better versions of themselves.
Then I really, really, love women whose level of success is a far cry from where they are coming from, women who are transparent and open about their steps and efforts, and women who make INTENTIONAL efforts to set milestones and keep celebrating themselves. For women like this, you can hardly accuse them of accidentally falling into wealth, being “lucky” or sleeping their way up the ladder.
Oh well, some nitwitted humans will always use the last card as the best way to slam successful women. If she is making it and doing well, some men has to be funding her.
Heck, her colleagues in the industry always allude to her professionalism, hardwork and ethics. I dare say that Funke Akindele is her own greatest competitor.
Funke Akindele was interviewed by ThisDayStyle in 2017 (March 26, 2017) and was quoted to have said, “I never had the dream to become this big. Yes, I envisioned becoming an entertainer, but I never envisioned being this big.”
If only she knew it was about to get even bigger. Acting, Directing, Producing, Business Management and Branding, she is fast becoming a Don. If she gradually makes her way into Hollywood, I believe she will SUCCEED.
Funke Akindele is whoever she says she is – A KING!
