Hajj: Gov Bala Mohammed joins 1.5m Muslim pilgrims to observe Arfat

Despite a high temperature of 45 to 43 Degrees Celsius, no fewer than one point five million muslim pilgrims world over converged on Arfat hill in Mecca to seek for divine intervention in their individual affairs.
Bauchi State contingents including Governor Bala Abdukadir Mohamed, top government officials from the state government are also part of the pilgrims who moved the Arfat at the early hours of today Saturday from Mina.
Prominent Islamic scholars from the state including the Chief Imam of Bauchi, Imam Bala Baban Inna, Professor Zubairu Madaki, Sheikh Salihu Sulaiman Ningi offered special prayers for the growth and economic development of the state.
The scholars also prayed for the success of Governor Bala Mohammed led administrations.
Arfat is the day when Islamic religion was completed by Allah from when it was first sent down on the night of Laylat al-Qadr otherwise called the Night of Power within the last ten days of Ramadan till it was made complete on the Day of Arafat.
Pilgrims are taking advantage of the opportunity to seek Allah’s forgiveness as well as his intervention in all ramifications. END
