Hajj: Gov Inuwa approves ₦500,000 subsidy for Gombe Intending muslim pilgrims

Gombe State Governor, Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, has approved N500,000 subsidy for each of the 1273 State’s intending Muslim Pilgrims for the upcoming Hajj exercise.
This decision comes in response to the recent announcement by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) regarding adjustments to the 2024 Hajj fare.
The approval is to mitigate the financial strain on the Gombe State pilgrims in the face of current economic challenges.
This is contained in a Press release issued by Ismaila Uba Misilli,

Government House, Gombe, and made available to Journalists Friday.
Governor Inuwa Yahaya hopes that this intervention will contribute to a seamless and spiritually enriching Hajj exercise for all pilgrims from Gombe State as well as facilitate a conducive environment for religious activities despite prevailing economic challenges. END
