Hunger protest: Police arrests mastermind behind Russian flag displays

A man identified as Ahmed who was allegedly responsible for the widespread display of Russian flags during the #EndBadGovernance protests in Kano has been apprehended by authorities.
The tailor was arrested in Kano for being in possession of the flags, who is believed to be one of the masterminds behind the distribution of the flags, has been taken into custody for further interrogation.
It should be recalled that a number of Nigerians participating in the protests across the country have been spotted waving foreign flags.
This has raised concerns about the true intentions behind the demonstrations with a noted increase in the number of protesters waving the flags, after each day of protest.
The development comes on the heels of President Bola Tinubu’s warning to protesters, cautioning them against being used to promote an unconstitutional agenda.
In his address, the President called for unity, progress, and democratic governance, urging Nigerians to work together towards a brighter future.
