Kidnappers abduct passengers, leave behind corpse in Kogi

Kidnappers have kidnapped passengers along Ejule-Aloma road in Ofu local government area of Kogi leaving behind corpse.
The kidnappers intercepted the vehicle heading to the southeastern part of Nigeria, forcing the occupants into the bush and leaving behind a corpse that was being transported for burial.
The Ejule-Aloma road, which serves as a critical link to the entire southeastern region of Nigeria, has become a hotspot for kidnapping activities, with the zone now considered a stronghold for these criminal elements.
As at the time of filling this report, no account has been given regarding to the number of casualty during the attack.
