Lawmaker hails Uzodimma’s leadership

Chief Kanayo Onyemaechi, the lawmaker representing Owerri West state constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly, has praised Governor Hope Uzodimma.
The Governor recently performed the groundbreaking ceremony for a new shopping mall, named in tribute to former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
While addressing journalists, Chief Kanayo Onyemaechi, the Majority Leader of the Imo State House of Assembly, disclosed that from the outset of Governor Hope Uzodimma’s administration, he was convinced that the governor was determined to transform the face of governance and redefine the state’s development narrative.
He said, “When distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma took over as governor of Imo State, I had no doubt he was going to turn the state around through the influx of projects upon projects. My intuition has never deceived me.”
Onyemaechi averred that in the area of road infrastructure, Uzodimma had virtually fixed all the major roads in Imo.
He enthused, “Today, the Owerri-Orlu and Owerri-Okigwe roads, which had been death traps have become the talk of the town.”
Onyemaechi appealed to present and future leaders, particularly those who will assume the governorship position after Uzodimma, to adopt his remarkable leadership approach as a model.
He said, “Today, the ground-breaking ceremony of Owerri Central Market has taken place. This is one project that has never been in the entire West Africa. The Owerri central market is one monumental project that would make prosperity to keep smiling fairly at the governor. This is the best political project divinity has given to Imo State from time immemorial.”
