Born in Kwara State, Nigeria, Seun Okinbaloye holds a degree in Performatory Arts from the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN).
His contributions to journalism have been recognized with several awards, including the prestigious Nigerian Media Merit Award (NMMA) for Television Programme Presenter of the Year in 2019.
Before his acclaimed tenure at Channels Television, Seun made a mark in the entertainment industry, appearing in soap operas and TV series like ‘Face to Face’. His transition to journalism was marked by significant roles as a news anchor and producer at NETWORK NEWS 24 from 2009 to 2012.

In July 2024, there was a rumor on social media that he had been fired by Channels TV, but he later clarified that the news was fake.
