Mohbad: Naira Marley reacts after being cleared of charges

Nigerian singer Naira Marley has reacted after a Lagos Magistrate Court sitting in Yaba cleared him, Sam Larry, and Prime Boy of any involvement in the death of late singer Mohbad.
The court, in its ruling on February 25, 2025, dismissed allegations linking Naira Marley and the two others to Mohbad’s tragic passing. However, the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) announced that legal action would be taken against Feyisayo Ogedengbe, the auxiliary nurse who treated Mohbad before his death, as well as the late singer’s friend, Ayobami Sodiq.
Following the ruling, Naira Marley took to his Twitter page to express his reaction, sharing a Quranic verse that reads:
“And whoever puts all his trust in Allah, He will be enough for him. (65:3).”
The verdict has sent the social media on frenzy, with many reflecting on the months-long speculation and legal battles that followed Mohbad’s sudden death.
