Moniepoint, OPay, others to resume onboarding new customers – CBN

Moniepoint, OPay, and other payment platforms are expected to begin accepting new customers within the next few months, as announced by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
During the 295th Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting in Abuja, the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Olayemi Cardoso, made this announcement on Tuesday.
He said, “I am confident that as time goes on, and hopefully in another couple of months, all these will be something of the past and then you will see that sector going back into what they’ve been known to do before, but certainly with a very stronger regulatory framework,”
