Nollywood actor mourns as beloved horse dies

Nollywood actor Ibrahim Chatta is grieving the loss of one of his horses, Arewa, and his colleagues have rallied around him to offer their condolences.
The actor, who owns a film village with a collection of horses, shared a heartfelt video tribute to the late horse, acknowledging the cruel fate that has befallen him.
In the video, Chatta can be seen mourning the loss of Arewa, saying, “God giveth, God taketh… Rest well Arewa the Horse. AlhamduliLlah.” His colleagues and friends took to the comment section to offer their sympathies and support during this difficult time.

This is not the first time Chatta has shown his deep affection for his horses. In June, he threatened to arrest a staff member for injuring one of his horses, which he described as animal cruelty. The incident sparked a heated debate on social media, with many users intervening to calm the situation.
In a lighter moment, Chatta had earlier poked fun at actress Toyin Abraham’s weight and tummy during her visit to his film village. However, Toyin defended herself, revealing that she had lost weight and only eats chew gum.
Chatta’s love for his horses is undeniable, and his colleagues’ support during this difficult time is a testament to the strong bonds within the Nollywood community.
