Nollywood actress gives Important advice to May Edochie

Nollywood actress Esther Nwachukwu, popularly known as Esther Sky, has publicly advised May Edochie, the estranged wife of actor Yul Edochie, to drop his surname and fully detach herself from the embattled Edochie family.
The controversial suggestion comes in the wake of intensifying tension within the family, following a series of online spats and shocking revelations. The latest drama was triggered after Yinka, the new wife of Linc Edochie (Yul’s brother), posted May’s personal phone number online—an act that has drawn widespread backlash.
Reacting to the ongoing crisis, Esther Nwachukwu urged May to legally remove the Edochie surname from her identity, insisting that the name holds no special value and that May has already carved a respectable image for herself.
“With all due respect, drop Yul Edochie’s name so that there will be peace,” Esther said in a video making rounds on social media. “Even if your documents still carry May Yul Edochie, go to court and get it changed. There’s nothing special about the name.”
She went further to accuse members of the Edochie family of allegedly conspiring against May, claiming that their loyalty has been compromised.
“The family has planned against her. All Yul’s siblings and brothers have been bought. If they weren’t secretly talking about Queen May behind closed doors, Linc’s new wife wouldn’t have the audacity to come online and insult her for no reason,” she added.
This is not the first time public figures have called on May to shed the Edochie name. Earlier, controversial relationship coach Blessing CEO advised May to step out of her estranged husband’s shadow and reclaim her identity, citing Yul’s controversial actions as justification.
The messy family saga has continued to dominate social media conversations, with netizens divided over the unfolding events and calls for May to disassociate from the Edochies entirely.
