The Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Dr. Olusola Odumosu, has rewarded 23 outstanding personnel with medals of excellence and cash gifts in recognition of their dedication, professionalism, and contributions to the corps.
The awards were presented during the Monday muster parade at the NSCDC FCT Command Headquarters in Wuse Zone 5, Abuja. Speaking at the event, Commandant Odumosu emphasized that the recognition was a testament to the recipients’ relentless service, hard work, and commitment throughout 2024.
“Your contributions have significantly impacted the successes recorded in the FCT Command in 2024. This award is to inspire you to continue striving for excellence,” Odumosu said.
He praised the awardees for their exceptional leadership and steadfast commitment to the corps’ mission, adding that their tireless efforts had not gone unnoticed. According to him, the NSCDC thrives on humility and integrity, and he remains committed to upholding these values in the FCT Command.
“This award is not only a recognition of your past achievements but also a way to spur you toward greater responsibilities. I charge all recipients to continue serving with distinction. May this award serve as a reminder of your exceptional contributions to the successes recorded by the FCT Command.”
