Nwaneri agrees Arsenal contract extention

Arsenal have reached an agreement in principle with Ethan Nwaneri for the 18-year-old attacker to sign a new long-term contract with the Gunners despite interest from other clubs.

During the summer many clubs work on securing the long-term future of their young stars, as Barcelona have recently done with Lamine Yamal, whose renewal will be made official on Wednesday.

On the other hand, other clubs such as Arsenal have already announced the renewal of their young star Myles Lewis-Skelly and now it will be the turn of Ethan Nwaneri.

After it was reported in recent days that negotiations between the Gunners and the young striker’s entourage over a new deal had progressed well, it seems they have now reached an agreement.

Fabrizio Romano has reported that despite interest from several clubs in landing the 18-year-old winger, Mikel Arteta’s side have reached an agreement in principle with him to extend his contract with the club.
