NYSC releases deployment letters for 2024 batch ‘C’ stream II

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced the release of deployment letters for prospective corps members (PCMs) of the 2024 Batch ‘C’ Stream II.
The scheme made this known in a statement shared on its official X account on Monday, urging PCMs to prioritize safety while traveling to their designated orientation camps.
NYSC cautioned PCMs against nighttime travel and emphasized the importance of adhering to travel advisories to ensure safe journeys. Additionally, the statement directed PCMs to print and sign an addendum, a document required for submission during registration at their respective camps.
For logistical reasons, the NYSC has made alternate arrangements for PCMs originally deployed to Lagos and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Some Lagos-deployed PCMs will complete their orientation course in Ekiti, Ondo, or Osun States, while those deployed to the FCT will have their orientation in Nasarawa or Kaduna States.
The statement reads:
“2024 Batch ‘C’ Stream II deployment has been released. PCMs are advised not to travel at night to the orientation camp.”
It continued, “Prospective Corps Members are advised to print and sign the addendum, which is to be submitted during registration in the orientation camp.”

“Some PCMs deployed to Lagos will have their orientation course in Ekiti, Ondo, or Osun, while some deployed to FCT will have their orientation course in Nasarawa or Kaduna camps.”
The NYSC reiterated its commitment to the safety and well-being of all corps members, advising them to remain vigilant and follow all official guidelines during the orientation program.
