Ogun Police arrest 2 kidnapping suspects, exhume victim’s body

The Ogun State Police Command has apprehended two suspected kidnappers linked to multiple kidnappings and murders in Ijebu Igbo and surrounding areas. The duo is part of a seven-man gang, with five members still at large.
According to Commissioner of Police Abiodun Alamutu, the gang was responsible for the abduction and killing of a 71-year-old father of five and a 37-year-old man. The victims were buried in shallow graves at separate locations.
The two suspects, who confirmed their involvement, led authorities to the burial sites. The Commissioner ensured that the remaining gang members would be caught and brought to justice.
The police are working tirelessly to apprehend the fleeing suspects, reiterating their commitment to ensuring the safety and security of Ogun residents. The Commissioner warned criminals to avoid the state, as the police are dedicated to protecting lives and properties.”
