Okpebholo dissolves all board, agency, parastatal executives

The Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has ordered the immediate dissolution of executive members across all boards, agencies, and parastatals within the Edo State Public Service.
The directive was announced in a statement released on Wednesday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Fred Itua, and was made available to journalists in Benin City.
In a bold move to restructure the state’s administrative framework, Governor Okpebholo also terminated the appointments of all Permanent Secretaries who had been appointed from outside the State Public or Civil Service, along with other political appointees.
The Governor directed all affected officials to promptly hand over any government assets or properties in their possession to the highest-ranking public officer within their respective ministries, departments, or agencies.
