Opinion Poll: Nigerians call for removal of Oyetola as Minister over underperformance

Nigerians from all walks of life have gone to social media to urge the immediate removal or replacement of Mr. Gboyega Oyetola, the former governor of Osun State and current Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, due to the appalling performance of his ministry.
According to various reactions, the minister has failed to make any significant impact since assuming office.
The social media users, in the opinion poll conducted on twitter and titled: ‘keep or sack’, Nigerians were quick to express their frustration and disappointment, with many calling for Oyetola’s outright sack.
Majority of those who commented made it known that there has never been better service and accountability, urging President Ahmed Tinubu to sack him or appoint a more competent replacement soon.
While some said he should be assigned to another Ministry for lacking capacity, few persons, who also commented, noted that he has been able to achieve a little because he is manning a new Ministry.
And the question is: will the Presidency heed the call for change, or will the minister remain in office despite his underperformance. Only time will tell.
