Oyo Assembly: Sunday Igboho speaks over suspected Yoruba nation agitators attack

TheDiscovererng.com reports that men suspected to be Yoruba nation agitators attacked the Oyo assembly on Saturday.
According to report the armed men were stationed at strategic points in the Secretariat.
Some were reported to have guarded the entrance to the Governor’s office, while others were observed at the House of Assembly Gate, and yet more were stationed at the main entrance.
Panic spread throughout the area as security personnel on duty attempted to manage the situation.
The identity of the masked men could not be ascertained as of the time of filing this report.
Men of the Police Command and other anti- crime agencies stormed the entrance to the Secretariat in numerous patrol vans.
Operatives of the Oyo security network codenamed Amotekun were said to have also arrived the gate.
It was learnt that the security men have arrested some of them.
while reacting to the incident, Yoruba Nation activist, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Igboho, in a video through his media aide, Olayomi Koiki, denied involvement of such incident.
He said in the video with the caption, “BREAKING NEWS CHIEF SUNDAY IGBOHO AND PROF ADEBANJI AKINTOYE NOT AWARE OF INVASION OF IBADAN TODAY”
