PDP backs governor’s criticism of Tinubu’s administration

A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Hon. Musa Zango has thrown his weight behind Governor Bala Mohammed over his criticism of President Bola Tinubu’s anti-people-policies’
In a press conference held in Bauchi during the weekend, Chairman of Kauran Bauchi Frontiers and a chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), expressed support for Governor Bala’s criticism of President Tinubu’s administration.
Zango described Governor Bala’s comments as “patriotic” and “fact-based,” stating that the governor’s criticism of Tinubu’s policies was necessary to address the suffering of Nigerians.
Zango also responded to claims made by a group called RT Hon. Dogara Yakubu Beneficiaries, which alleged that former Speaker Yakubu Dogara was instrumental in Governor Bala’s election.
He challenged the group to provide evidence of their claims and questioned Dogara’s sincerity.
“The comment made by Bauchi state governor Bala Mohammad at the flagoff campaign of the Local Government Area election to the effect that president Bola Tinubu’s Policies will not take Nigeria to the promised land was viewed by Dogara as an attack to the president forgetting that those policies are inflicting untold hardship on Nigeria’s people,” Zango said.
Zango also addressed the conflict in Tafawa Balewa, stating that it was not Dogara who brought peace to the area but rather the legislative approval of the relocation of the local government headquarters during the administration of former Governor Isa Yuguda.
When asked about Governor Bala’s criticism of Tinubu’s administration, Zango commended the governor for speaking the truth and stated that majority of Nigerians were behind him.
“Governor Bala has shown that he is a patriotic Nigerian,” Zango said. “Any well-meaning Nigerian will not speak against governor Bala’s comment because he has shown that he is a patriotic Nigerian.”
Zango concluded by calling on President Tinubu to appoint Yakubu Dogara as his spokesman, stating that Dogara’s attacks on Governor Bala would not go unchallenged.
“We want to remind Dogara that he who lives in a glass house should not throw stones as we are ever ready to open a can of worms if he continues to attack governor Bala Mohammad,” Zango added.
