Police arrest PoS operator allegedly supplying money to bandits

Sunday Musa, who is also known as Dan Gwari, a PoS operator accused of providing prostitute to bandits and distributing funds to their families in Kaduna State’s Kagarko Local Government Area has been arrested by the Federal Capital Territory Police Command.
FCT Commissioner of Police, Benneth Igweh paraded Sunday Musa before the press in Abuja on Tuesday, revealing that Musa’s arrest was the outcome of a joint operation by the anti-kidnapping unit in Kagarko.
Igweh revealed that Sunday Musa was a high-level accomplice to the bandit groups under Ardo’s command, providing crucial information and logistical support, and facilitating the supply of nurses, hard drugs, and ladies to the bandits, as well as distributing millions of naira to their families.
Additionally, the police arrested Ruqquaya Ibrahim, a 41-year-old housewife from Sabon-Wuse, Niger State, accused of supplying food and logistics to bandits.
During questioning, Ibrahim admitted to supplying food to a group of bandits led by the fugitive Shumau, who is still at large. Ibrahim was apprehended in the Gidan-Dogo forest while en route to deliver food to the bandits. Upon her arrest, she led the police to Shumau’s hideout, where they recovered 14 stolen cows.
Igweh stressed that the authorities are actively working to disrupt and dismantle the networks of bandits and ensure the restoration of peace and security in the region.
