Police nab air condition vandalism suspects

The Kaduna State Police Command has apprehended two suspects specializing in vandalizing air conditioners in government properties.
ASP Mansir Hassan, the command’s spokesperson, confirmed that Ibrahim Yusuf, Registrar of the Kaduna State High Court, reported the incident on September 21.
Posing as technicians sent by the Chief Judge’s office, the suspects targeted the court complex’s ACs, removing and vandalizing them. Similar incidents occurred at Barnawa court complex and Upper Shari’a Court.
Investigations led to the detention of Salim Sani, who confessed to the crimes. A search of Moses Adekunle’s shop uncovered eight stolen 1.5 horsepower split ACs.
Police said investigations are ongoing, and all suspects connected to the crime will face charges upon completion.
