Rashidi Ladoja crowned Otun Olubadan


In a ceremony held at the newly established Olubadan Palace in Oke Aremo, Ibadan, former Oyo State Governor, High Chief Rashidi Ladoja, has been formally crowned as the Otun Olubadan.
This prestigious title positions him as the next in line to the revered Olubadan throne.
The coronation ceremony, which took place on Monday, was attended by dignitaries, including Governor Seyi Makinde, Asiwaju of Ibadanland Chief Bode Amao, and other prominent figures such as Chief Bayo Oyero, Chief Wole Akinwande, Yemisi Adeaga, and Niyi Ajewole.
Following the announcement, Ladoja’s residence in Bodija has become a hub of celebration, with friends, family, and well-wishers flocking to offer congratulations and support.
This significant development marks a new chapter in Ibadan’s traditional leadership, with Ladoja’s coronation widely welcomed by the community.
