Real Madrid star goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is ready for his long-awaited return to the Belgian national team after a year and a half’s absence.
The 31-year-old goalkeeper expressed his desire to wear the Belgian shirt again, telling Koora Break with Rio Ferdinand: “I missed to play for Belgium… it’s one year and half, now I am ready”.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Courtois is expected to take part in Belgium’s next match against Ukraine in Genk in March, which would be his first international appearance since June 2022.
