Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is on the verge of returning to the Belgian national team, with his comeback potentially slated for the match against Ukraine on March.
Real Madrid star goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is ready for his long-awaited return to the Belgian national team after a year and a half’s absence.
The 31-year-old goalkeeper expressed his desire to wear the Belgian shirt again, telling Koora Break with Rio Ferdinand: “I missed to play for Belgium… it’s one year and half, now I am ready”.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Courtois is expected to take part in Belgium’s next match against Ukraine in Genk in March, which would be his first international appearance since June 2022.
