Reduce fuel price, Nigerians are hungry, Kukah tells APC leaders

Archbishop of Sokoto Diocese, Bishop Mathew Hassan Kukah, has asked the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to find a way of reducing poverty in the country, saying Nigerians are hungry.
The Bishop specifically asked the APC leaders to reduce the price of fuel.
Bishop Kukah was speaking, Friday, at the formal unveiling of The Progressive Institute (TPI), the brain child of the Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje-led National Working Committee (NWC).
In attendance at the event includes; Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, Deputy Senate President, Barau Jibrin, Governors of Imo and Ondo state, Hope Uzodimma and Lucky Aiyedatiwa, among other prominent party leaders.
Kukah, while commending Ganduje’s leadership for the establishment of the Institute, said: “A girl was asked, which party are you? APC, LP or PDP? She said ‘I am hungry’, so we Nigerians are hungry. You have to find a way of reducing this price of fuel.”
