Robbery attack claims governor’s sister in Taraba

Tragedy struck the family of Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas, as his sister, Atsi Kefas, passed away on Monday night in Abuja.
Atsi, 44, succumbed to injuries sustained during a robbery attack just four days prior.
The incident occurred last Thursday on Kente Road in Wukari Local Government Area, where armed bandits targeted a vehicle carrying Atsi and the governor’s mother, Jummai Kefas. While Jummai escaped unhurt, Atsi suffered severe injuries.
After initial treatment at the Federal University Teaching Hospital in Wukari, Atsi was transferred to a private hospital in Abuja for advanced care. Despite efforts to save her, sources confirmed she died from complications arising from her injuries.
Although the family and state officials have yet to issue a formal statement, the news has sparked an outpouring of condolences from friends and supporters across social media platforms.
