School fires nursery teacher over viral adult photos online

A Catholic nursery school has terminated the appointment of 29-year-old Elena Maraga after it was discovered that she had been posting adult content on OnlyFans.
The controversy erupted when a parent of one of the pupils stumbled upon Maraga’s racy photos, which were being sold on the subscription-based platform. The man, whose wife reportedly found the images on his phone, allegedly shared them within a football group chat before reporting the teacher to the school authorities.
Following the discovery, the school placed Maraga on immediate suspension without pay and demanded she delete her OnlyFans account. However, she refused, standing by her decision to keep the page active.
The situation quickly escalated as outraged parents launched a petition demanding her dismissal. Facing growing pressure, the school officially fired Maraga on Tuesday, citing a violation of their values.
In a statement, the institution said her dismissal was “for just cause with immediate effect,” explaining that her online activity was “in direct contrast to the Catholic inspiration and moral standards that guide the educational mission of the school.”
