The 2024/2025 Premier League season has officially wrapped up, and the six English teams set to compete in next season’s UEFA Champions League have now been confirmed.

Chelsea secured their place in Europe’s elite competition with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Sunday. Levi Colwill scored the decisive goal, converting a low cross from Neto to seal the win. The result ensures the Blues finish in fourth place, capping off a strong late-season push under manager Enzo Maresca.

Manchester City ended their campaign with a 2-0 win over Fulham, thanks to goals from Ilkay Gundogan and Erling Haaland. Despite the victory, City had to settle for third place behind title challengers Liverpool and eventual champions Arsenal.

Newcastle United, despite suffering a narrow 1-0 defeat at home to Everton, managed to claim the final Champions League spot through their league position.

Tottenham Hotspur also booked their ticket to the Champions League earlier this week by winning the Europa League final with a 1-0 triumph over Manchester United — a result that automatically qualifies them for next season’s tournament.

Final List of English Clubs in Europe (2025/26):

Champions League:

Arsenal

Liverpool

Manchester City

Chelsea

Newcastle United

Tottenham Hotspur (Europa League winners)

Europa League:

Aston Villa

Crystal Palace (FA Cup winners)

Europa Conference League:

Nottingham Forest

It’s an exciting European lineup for English football next season, with several clubs returning to the Champions League stage and others making their mark in continental competitions.
