Sergio Ramos quits Sevilla

Spanish defender Sergio Ramos, has informed his hometown club Sevilla that his second stint with the team has come to an end after only one season.
Sevilla, a La Liga club, announced on Monday that Sergio Ramos, a veteran Spanish defender, has ended his second stint with the team after a single season.
The 38-year-old Ramos racked up 37 appearances for Sevilla as they struggled to 14th in La Liga, getting through three coaches on the way.
Ramos departed Sevilla at the age of 19 to begin a 15-year tenure at Real Madrid in 2005, followed by a two-year stint at Paris Saint-Germain.
The record seven-time Europa League winners have announced that Ramos will bid farewell to fans on Tuesday, after revealing on Monday that his dream return to the club where he developed his youth skills has come to an end.
“Sergio Ramos has informed Sevilla FC that he will not stay next season,” the club said in a statement.
“The club wishes to thank Sergio for the commitment, leadership and dedication that he has demonstrated this season, and wishes him the best for future.”
After an incredible 17 seasons, Jesus Navas, Sevilla’s captain and all-time appearance leader, departed the club two weeks ago at the age of 38.
