Suspected kidnappers nabbed in Oyo


A group of four suspected kidnappers have been apprehended by the anti-kidnapping squad in Oyo State, according to a viral video posted on X (formerly Twitter), drawing public reaction.
In the video, a man narrating behind the camera can be heard identifying the suspects, revealing that they were captured by the state’s anti-kidnapping unit. Interestingly, the suspects appeared calm and composed, prompting the narrator to clarify their true identities.
“These guys look as though they’ve been kidnapped, but they are the kidnappers,” he said, dispelling any confusion about their appearance.
The narrator also mentioned the names of the suspects and credited the security team responsible for their arrest, although these details were not independently verified at the time of this report.
As the clip made rounds online, netizens flocked to the comment section with a flurry of reactions—some praising the police for the successful bust, while others expressed concern over the rising cases of kidnapping across the country.
