Take up teaching job in varsity, APC chieftain tells El-Rufai

A staunch member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) from Benue State, Comrade Okpokwu Ogenyi, has advised former governor Nasir El-Rufai, to rather take up a teaching job in a University instead of ganging failed politicians against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of 2027 elections.
The former Kaduna state governor recently dumped the ruling APC to opposition Social Democratic Party (SDP), and has vowed to work against the President.
Reacting to the development, Ogenyi, who is a Special Adviser on Civil Society Organizations to APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, wondered how El-Rufai think that his “realignment of failed politicians may unseat an incumbent President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”
According to Ogenyi, El-Rufai was a sitting governor when APC lost Kaduna State to the PDP, hence is political relevant in doubt.
The APC stalwart wrote on his official Facebook page on Sunday: “Malam Nasir El-Rufai is confused. How could he think that his realignment of failed politicians may unseat an incumbent President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. El-Rufai was a governor when we lost Kaduna State to the PDP.
“Tell me, apart from speaking English ups and down, what else can he do? I advise the orator to take up a teaching job where he could add value to the society.”
