Tinubu’s daughter bags new appointment

Governor of Lagos State Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has appointed Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, daughter of President Bola Tinubu, as the chairperson of the Lagos State Market Advisory Council.
The appointment was made during the inauguration of the newly constituted council.
The governor urged the members to handle their roles with a strong sense of duty, stressing the importance of safety, fairness, and transparency in resolving market disputes and in daily dealings with customers.
Sanwo-Olu acknowledged the efforts of the appointees, describing the appointment as a reflection of their leadership qualities and dedication to community service.
He noted that while progress had been made, there was still room for improvement in the operations of markets across the state.
The government, he said, will continue to support the council by creating a better working environment.
Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, who also serves as the Iyaloja General, assured that the council would remain focused on its responsibilities.
She said the council is tasked with resolving market-related issues and conflicts, and also ensuring cleanliness across all Lagos markets.
She appealed to the state government for more support in executing their duties.
