Tragedy as man dies while planning mother’s burial

A Nigerian man has reportedly passed away due to stress while making burial arrangements for his late mother, just two weeks after her demise.
The heartbreaking news was shared in a viral post on X (formerly Twitter), where a user recounted the tragic incident, revealing that the man succumbed to high blood pressure (HBP) brought on by excessive stress.
“Death is weird. My neighbour, an old woman, died two weeks ago. Her only son, while running around making burial arrangements, passed away over the weekend due to stress and HBP. ” the post read.
As the news spread, netizens flooded the comment section with condolences, expressing shock and sympathizing with the grieving family. Many also highlighted the immense financial and emotional burden often associated with funeral preparations in Nigeria.
