Vehicles burnt as tanker explodes

Over 10 vehicles have been burnt as a result of a tanker explosion at the Eleme section of the East-West Road in Rivers State.
According to reports on Friday night no fewer than four persons are feared dead as a result of the incident.
It was gathered that a tanker laden with petroleum products exploded, affecting other vehicles in the area known for its gridlock.
The incident which was reported to have started around 9:15pm occurred adjacent to the Indorama Petrochemical Company located along the Akpojo-Onne axis of the East-West Road.
In a video now circulating on social media, a witness claims that the fire has been razing for over four hours and firefighters are yet to arrive at the scene.
