Verydarkman takes position on senate clash between Akpabio, Natasha

Popular social media activist, Verydarkman, has weighed in on the heated exchange between Senate President Godswill Akpabio and Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, which sparked widespread reactions on Thursday.
Taking to his platform, Verydarkman shared a throwback video of Akpabio confronting the then-Senate President, Bukola Saraki, in a manner similar to what he now criticizes Natasha for.
In his remarks, the activist called out Akpabio for double standards, questioning whether he had forgotten his own past actions in the 8th Senate.
“Dear Senate President Godswill Akpabio, this was you a few years ago doing the same misconduct you accused Natasha Akpoti of. Or did you forget?” he wrote.
He went on to commend Bukola Saraki for his composure in handling the situation at the time, while also urging Natasha Akpoti to be mindful of her position and act accordingly.
“Shout out to Bukola Saraki for the way he handled the situation here. Also, to Natasha Akpoti, understand your position and try to act right. You are all meant to work for the benefit of Nigeria, not for personal interests. Drop your big egos and get Nigeria running. Respect your boss, madam.”
Additionally, Verydarkman advised members of the ruling party to work together as a team, emphasizing that unity is crucial for moving the country forward.
His comments have since created mixed reactions, with some agreeing with his stance while others argue that Natasha has the right to defend her position in the Senate.
