Veteran actress, Funke Akindele describes self as ‘hustler not billionaire’

Veteran actress and filmmaker, Funke Akindele, has described herself as hustler rather than a billionaire.
The actress addressed the misconception surrounding her worth following the remarkable success of her movie “A Tribe Called Judah”.
The film’s box office gross of over a N1bn led to speculation that she had become a billionaire.
However, Funke clarified that this was not the case, stating that while the movie did indeed gross a billion naira, she did not personally take home the entire amount.
Funke’s response was prompted by a fan’s comment expressing desire to meet her in person, possibly with the assumption that she was now a billionaire.
She set the record straight, emphasising her continued hard work and dedication to her craft, earning her the title of a “confirmed hustler”.
“Thanks dear. I’m not a billionaire! My movie A Tribe Called Judah grossed over a billion naira. But I didn’t take the billion home o!!! I be confirmed hustler,” she said.
