VIDEO: Bobrisky called out over AI claims

A Nigerian man has taken to social media to debunk Bobrisky’s claims that the viral audio shared by VeryDarkMan was generated using Artificial Intelligence (AI).
In a video circulating online, the man questioned Bobrisky’s assertion, demonstrating the significant difference between AI-generated speech and a human voice.
The man, speaking directly into the camera, asked an AI system several questions in Yoruba, prompting it to respond. However, the AI’s responses, which lacked the fluidity, emotion, and accent of a native speaker, were noticeably different from the viral audio in question.
“Bobrisky, stop lying. This is what premium AI speaking Yoruba sounds like. How can you now claim that the audio recording VeryDarkMan posted is AI-generated when it clearly speaks Yoruba with accent and empathy?” the man stated.

The viral audio, posted by VeryDarkMan, allegedly features Bobrisky speaking in Yoruba and discussing a N15 million bribe to officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Bobrisky, however, has repeatedly denied the authenticity of the recording, claiming it was AI-generated.
As the controversy continues to unfold, many are eagerly waiting to see how Bobrisky responds to this latest challenge to his defense.
